Building techniques and construction – Ms. Leslie Koch, Stuttgart

Being initiator and responsible for the aid project “Ukugala” for the “village of hope” in Grabouw near Cape Town, Leslie Koch presented the projects for “Village of hope”, which she realised together with students of the department of public buildings from the University Stuttgart under the theme “build together, learn together” between 2010 and 2013. The lecture provided an insight into the different stages within the project, from conception and planning up to the realisation. It showed a picture of the different challenges that are within such a task.
