F like Francis – the Trucks in Sri Lanka are really colourfull and for us they bring the cement.
In the morning at 10:00 with 30 degrees everyone is working hard. The welder are the
happy ones who can work in the shadow.
The works on the admisnistration building started with the first blind beam.
And the Lanka Learning Center grows one steps after another.
The second ring beam: the formwork is filled with concret.
Mean while the next section is prepared for the ring beam formwork.
Next to the classroom area will be a water basin. The labours prepared the circle of the tank.
Aside the construction area, every afternoon the children meet for their lessons or for playing.
Today they were more interested in what Noemi is doing.
It seems that we made new friends here.
At 10:00 and 16:00 o’clock there is a break for some plain tea oder milk tea.
This break for the labours (at building sites )is inclueded in every working contract in Sri Lanka.
